Roman Hybler (*Dezember 27 1977 in Liberec) is a Czech billiard player. He became two-fold German Team Champion with the BSV Dauchau and also is able to present international successes as single player.
When he was 12 years old Hybler discovered playing pool as a passion. His first club was the PBC Woodstock Germering, later he switched to PBC Olimpia Munich, for which he won several titles at the German Junior Championships. Later Hybler played for the BSV Playhouse Fürstenfeldbruck in the national league before he switched again, to Dachau.
In 2001 he was able to celebrate a victory at his first major tournament: the Euro Tour in Willingen.
Two years later he won bronze of discipline 8-ball and 9-ball men’s single at the Pool European Championship in Polish Byalistok. In 2004 another bronze medal was won playing 14/1 at the European Championship in Prague. One of his greatest international successes was reaching the round before the quarterfinal at the 9-ball World Championship in 2005. Another one was playing the quarterfinals at the World Pool Masters 2005. Furtchermore he was able to be among the better teams at the Team European Championships playing for the Czech and Polish national teams.
